Today was another great day in Sirmione on Lake Garda.  It began with classroom instruction on timing and driving technique for the race followed by a great lunch by the water. After lunch we had some prep time on the car as well as some important instruction on the equipment and routes. We were told that there will be close to five million Italians lining the thousand mile race course. The race will be in three legs, beginning Thursday starting in Northern Italy.
Thursday,  May 12:  Day One-Brescia to Bologna- 6 hours driving
Friday, May 13th:  Day Two- Bologna to Rome- 13 hours
Saturday, May 14th: Day Three- Rome to Brescia via Tuscany 16.5 hours of driving
Finish line, May 14th at 7:30PM local time.
